Antenna of the Desk Creative Europe Serbia will, in cooperation with the film festival “Cinema City”, organize an Info stand on the opening of the festival on 29th June in Kineska četvrt (Chinatown) in Novi Sad beginning at 6 p.m.
The Info stand is a regular promotional activity of the Desk creative Europe Serbia’s Antenna through which greater visibility of the Creative Europe programme and activities of the office is achieved but it also provides cooperation with important cultural manifestations in the country. The festival “Cinema City“ is one of the most important film festivals in the country and with its international importance it is an important place for the promotion of the Creative Europe programme.
At the Info stand team members of the Desk Creative Europe Serbia’s Antenna will distribute promotional materials of the Creative Europe programme and speak with individuals from the field of culture about possibilities for financing cultural projects.

Programme Creative Europe is the main programme of the European Union financing projects in culture and enhancing European cultural cooperation. Therefore, one of the main conditions of the majority of competitions with the Creative Europe programme refers to establishing partnerships between organizations active in different European countries.
With the aim to encourage that cooperation and to enable easier access to foreign partners, the Desk Creative Europe Serbia is continuously organizing activities of presenting the international cultural scene. In that regard on 26th June 2015 presentation of the Romanian cultural scene and projects with participants from institutions and organizations from Romania that gained support of the Creative Europe programme.
The Head of the Desk Creative Europe Romania, Bianca Floarea will visit Belgrade and speak about priorities and possibilities of developing cooperation between cultural institutions and organizations from Romania and Serbia.

Representatives of fourteen institutions and organizations from Serbia will have an opportunity to participate in the seminar about project preparation for the Creative Europe programme, organized in the Museum in the open “Staro Selo” – Sirogojno. Among them are five museums (the National Museum Čačak, the National Museum Kraljevo, the National Museum Kruševac, the National Museum Niš, The Museum of Rudnik-Takovo area Gornji Milanovac), two cultural centres (Cultural centre Požega, Cultural centre ”Vuk Karadžić” Loznica) and seven civil society organizations (Forca Požega, Mladi i talentovani Prijepolje, MillenniuM Kragujevac, Eufonija Šid-Kragujevac-Novi Sad, Matrijaršija Belgrade, Obrazovni krugovi Belgrade, KulturPark Belgrade).
The programme of the seminar consists of lectures with the topic of international cultural cooperation, contemporary art practices and cultural policy concepts (Milena Dragićević Šešić, Faculty of Dramatic Arts and Jovan Čekić, Faculty for media and communication), presenting the Creative Europe programme (Dimitrije Tadić, Nina Mihaljinac, Luka Kulić, Dragana Srećkov, Jovana Rapajić, Desk Creative Europe Serbia) and the workshop programme – presentations, consultations and discussion about project propositions.
