Competition for literary translation projects is now open
This year’s competition for literary translation projects was opened within the Creative Europe programme on March 7th 2016. The deadline for applying is April 27th 2016 and the competition is open to publishers who can apply with a proposal to translate a specific package of books to European languages.
Somewhat altered conditions and the procedure of the competition were published on the web page of the European Commission and modifications were concerned with assigning automatic points for translation of works which received the European Union Prize for literature. Instead of the 25 points that were assigned until now, these projects will be able to attain a maximum of 15 automatic points.

Publishers can gather information on literary translation projects from Serbia supported by resources of the Creative Europe programme during 2015 and 2016 from the part of the website Successful Projects.
It should be especially emphasized that Serbia occupies the third place by success in the competition for literary translation projects within the Creative Europe programme which confirms great dedication and proactive approach of domestic publishers.
