Results of the Public Call for Participation in the Seminar “Creative Europe Programme –project preparation”

Representatives of twenty-four institutions and organizations from Serbia will be granted an opportunity to participate in a seminar of project proposition preparation for the Creative Europe programme, organised in cooperation with the Centre for Culture “Vuk Karadžić” in Tršić, from 7th to 10th August.

Among them there are seven public institutions: city library “Karlo Bijelicki” from Sombor, the National Library of Serbia from Belgrade, the Pedagogical Museum from Belgrade, City Government of Niš, Provincial Secretariat for Culture and Public Information Novi Sad, Tourist organisation of the City of Loznica, and the Natural History Museum in Belgrade, and nineteen organisations of the civil society: Civil Association Kulturna periferija, Orlovat, Bookstore Bulevar Books Novi Sad, Civil Association HeriTag Inđija, Civil Association Reload Vranje, Serbian Literary Society Belgrade, Publishing house Treći trg Belgrade, Centre for Rehabilitation through Imagination Belgrade, Centre for Realisation of New Ideas Šabac, Hartefakt Fund Belgrade, Gallery 12HUB Belgrade, Civil Association Bastardo Club & Doroteo Design Belgrade, Haver Serbia Belgrade, Small Art Centre of Zemun Belgrade, Belgrade Festival of Flowers, Civil Association “Firma” Novi Pazar, Civil Association “Stara škola Medveđa” from Medveđa, Civil Association “Zeleno oko” Krupanj and the Independent Film Centre “Film the World” Belgrade.

Every year, Creative Europe Desk Serbia organises a seminar for writing projects with the aim of achieving the best possible preparations of projects of institutions and organisations which they will use to apply for the support of the Creative Europe programme, both during this year and the next ones.

The topics the seminar will deal with are contemporary practices and concepts in international cultural cooperation, cultural heritage and contemporary art; management of international projects; European cultural policy and the priorities of the Creative Europe programme. Within the programme of the seminar, representatives of the Creative Europe Desk Serbia, Dimitrije Tadić, Nina Mihaljinac, Milan Đorđević, Mina Radmilović Pjevac and Jovana Rapajić, will speak about opportunities offered by the Creative Europe programme, and also lectures will be held on the topic of modern curator practices, management in culture and internationalisation of work in culture which will be lead by Nikola Krstović, a scientific associate of the Centre for Museology and Heritology of the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade and Andrija Stojanović, coordinator of the project Take Over and MAPE, followed by the workshop programme –presentations, consultations and discussion on proposed projects.

We are inviting all institutions and organisations which are not among this year’s participants to contact us so we can discuss their project ideas. Moreover, in October this year, the Antenna of the Creative Europe Desk Serbia will organise a seminar for project writing which can be a new opportunity for anyone interested.
