On the occasion of the European ARTificial Intelligence Lab project start, the Centre for the Promotion of Science is organising the “art+science:makers” conference in Belgrade, on 14th November at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade (20 Bulevar umetnosti St).
More than twenty artists, scientists, makers and representatives of reputable organisations and institutions, such as Ars Electronica from Linz, universities in Vienna, Barcelona, Brussels and Bristol, and the most important domestic actors will present new insights and inspirational examples of inter-disciplinary cooperation between science and art. The very nature and various models of art+science collaboration, the question of audience development and blurring the border between disciplines, and also integration of innovative and creative practices in formal education processes will be considered under the umbrella of makers culture.
Within the opportunity making programme of the conference, Creative Europe Desk Serbia will present opportunities offered by the Creative Europe programme for the development of art&science projects.
Participation in the conference is free and it will be enabled only based on applications and a returned confirmation. More information on the conference and the way of applying can be found here.
