The Office for Cooperation with Civil Society RS and Creative Europe Desk Serbia in cooperation with the Association of Visual Artists Užice are organising an event entitled “European Projects – from Idea to Realisation” on Friday 23rd November at 12 p.m. in the Gallery Reflektor in Užice.
The event is an opportunity to discuss potentials of project ideas coming from institutions and organisations from Užice and the surrounding area to achieve international connectivity and cooperation through European programmes Creative Europe and Europe for Citizens. We are inviting you to apply to participate with project ideas you would like to realise and projects you are already implementing.
We are expecting representatives of civil society organisations, libraries, theatres, publishing houses, galleries, museums, local self-governments, archives and institutes from Užice, Požega, Bajina Bašta, Čačak, Novi Pazar, Prijepolje, Gornji Milanovac, Ivanjica and other interested parties.
The event is open for anyone interested and if you want to participate in the discussions, please fill in the application and send it to the email address: kreativnaevropa@kultura.gov.rs at latest by 16th November at midday.

The aim of the Europe for Citizens programme is to promote European identity and European citizenship, and also to strengthen the participation of citizens in all forms of community life. General aims of the programme contribute to better understanding of the European Union, its values, history and diversity, promotion of European citizenship and improvement of civil and democratic participation on the European level. The national contact point for the programme is the Office for Cooperation with Civil Society of the Republic of Serbia promoting the programme, organising info sessions, workshops and conferences. The Office also offers support to anyone interested in preparing a project application and help in finding partners in other countries participating in the programme.
Creative Europe programme is the main programme of the European Union for culture and support to cooperation projects of cultural institutions and organisations from different European countries. The programme also supports initiatives to translate and promote literary work of European authors in European Union and beyond, establish networks enabling competitivity and international activity of cultural and creative sectors, and also establishing platforms for promotion of young talents, their work and projects. Creative Europe Desk Serbia is the implementing body of the Creative Europe programme, established as a part of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia. The aim of the Desk is to offer support to cultural institutions and civil society organisations in the Republic of Serbia intending to secure participation in the Creative Europe programme.
