Marketing and Publishing: How to Reach New Reading Audience?

The event in the EU Info Centre is dedicated to the question troubling many dealing with fiction today: how to instigate a reading interest in an audience long-term in the time of quick distractions and easy fun, how to animate the youth, but also older people to regularly purchase and read high-quality contemporary literature?

The lack of interest in European literature in comparison to domestic publications and global best sellers is the reason why special attention is dedicated to evaluating book promotion and audience development strategies within the Creative Europe competition for literary translations. Precisely due to this Creative Europe Desk Serbia is organising an event dedicated to this topic.

Domestic publishers will have the opportunity to attend the lecture of Uroš Vuković, Creative Director of the marketing agency Publicis, based on his more than a decade long experience of working in sectors of marketing and culture, but also including specific questions and dilemmas domestic publishers potentially have.
