Info day about the Creative Europe programme in Vranje

Creative Europe Desk Serbia is organising an info day about the Creative Europe programme in cooperation with the National Museum Vranje and the National library “Bora Stanković” on Thursday 28th February at 12 p.m. in the premises of the National Museum Vranje.

With the aim of adequate informing of cultural public about the programme and the competition procedure, i.e. what the easiest way to secure financial help is within the programme, will be discussed by Dimitrije Tadić, Head of the Creative Europe Desk Serbia.

The presentation is intended for representatives of cultural institutions and organisations from cities and municipalities in the South of Serbia – managers and employees of museums, theatres, libraries, archives, cultural centres and other cultural institutions and civil society organisations.

We are inviting all interested representatives of cultural institutions and organisations from Vranje and the surrounding areas to use this opportunity to find out more about the guidelines of competition calls which will be opened throughout the year: programme priorities, conditions when applying and specific questions related to the past participation of Serbia in the programme.

At the same time the event is also an opportunity to chat about potentials of project ideas of institutions and organisations from Vranje and the surrounding areas to achieve European cooperation within the Creative Europe programme.

Creative Europe programme is the main programme of the European Union for culture intended to support cooperation projects of cultural institutions and organisations from different European countries. The programme also supports initiatives to translate and promote literary works of European authors within the European Union and beyond, establishing networks that enable competitiveness and international activity of the cultural and the creative sectors, and also founding platforms for promotion of young talents, their works and projects. Creative Europe Desk Serbia is an implementation body of the Creative Europe programme, established within the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia. The task of the Desk is to offer support to cultural institutions and civil society organisations in the Republic of Serbia wanting to secure participation in the Creative Europe programme.
