Funding Possibilities through EU Funds

In cooperation with the Foundation Novi Sad 2021 – European Capitol of Culture the first in a series of trainings was held entitled Funding Possibilities through EU Funds with a special focus on the Creative Europe programme for representatives of civil society organisations in the field of culture and individuals, independent artists and interested cultural professionals. Three-day training took place in the period between 13th and 15th March in the former castle and shooting grounds Egység which today operates as a cultural station in Novi Sad.

Representatives of the Foundation European Affairs of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina Sanja Čuturilov Veselinović, Tamara Glišić-Krivošija and Jovana Rapajić (Antenna of the Culture Desk Serbia) presented the Creative Europe programme, and also programmes of cross-border cooperation financed via Instruments of Pre-Accession.

Attendees had the opportunity to learn how to transform their ideas into European project. On the last day of the training, attendees got acquainted with the basics of budgeting projects, and also parts of the application form for applying for available funds of the European Union. Through work in smaller groups, attendees developed project ideas focussed on preserving tamburica and tambura culture in Vojvodina and Slavonija, and also increasing the inclusion of disabled persons in arts, as well as promoting activities in the field of culture intended for youth.
