Invitation for translators from Serbian

Dear colleagues,

During the past seven years of Serbia’s participation in the Creative Europe programme, over 300 literary works of European writers have been translated into the Serbian language. Since the focus of the programme is increasingly shifting towards the support to translation from “small” into “big” European languages, publishing houses are looking for experienced translators from Serbian into the officially recognised languages within the European Union.

With the aim of enhancing cooperation and making communication easier, the Creative Europe Desk Serbia and the Association of Literary Translators of Serbia will work on creating an electronic map of translators from the Serbian language in the following period.

If you recognise yourself in this call, please fill the short questionnaire until 31st May, in English or in Serbian. Following this we will inform you about the outcome of your application.
