Movement of the third age Nis was founded as a voluntary, non-governmental, non-profit, social and humanitarian movement, based on the freedom of association of pensioners, all third-age people and other citizens of Niš and Serbia, their associations, clubs and society, all with the aim of achieving and promoting common interests and goals in the field of sports, health, culture, arts and education of third-age people and their integration into the social community.
The activities of the Movement are conceptually aligned with the Recommendations and Obligations of the Madrid International Plan of Action on Aging (2002) and the Regional Strategy for its Implementation, adopted by the UN Economic Commission for Europe.
